We are truly blessed
We live again
And are free from just existing
Under evil men

Painful beginning ... and I fear the next installment gets worse ...

I suspect it does, depends who write it. Perhaps my father would write it like this:



And the children were so happy
They praised God every day
And the really really good ones
Grew up and went in the Missions way

They loved their dorm parents
Wrote letters of love back to the tribe
Years latter they still remember
To the great love they did subscribe

I'm so grateful I was so humbly called
I served the Lord in foreign land
And now I sit where I belong
On God's very right hand


My perspective is probably a little different, actually very different.

O.k. I've made you cry and sad. Perhaps this for an ending and we can do the middle some other time, or just leave it for another or in our immaginations:




And it came to pass
That despite journeys long and hard
Those grown up children found real love
And no longer by the past were marred

They found friends so wonderful
For many a God who really cared
Who held their hand so very gently
And whispered "be not scared"

Then they set aside their baggage
Took up pots of purple paint and gear
And painted in every heart they found
"I'm living" for all to see and hear
