It would be good if churches started a case against NTM for not protecting the missionary children that the churches supported. They have hid abusers from churches and supporters. NTM can't hide forever.

Shary, this is why it was so upsetting that NTM only contacted the "sending church" not all of the "supporting" churches . . .when they notified them of the abuse. It makes me weep, to think of the sacrifices church members make to give money . . .and the betrayal that that really is.

This is a helpful new perspective, and one I hadn't really thought of before.

New Tribes Mission, if you have incriminating documents you want to hide from the judge by claiming they are "privileged", then you need to stop playing by the world's rules, and start listening to Scripture.

Accept the incrimination and let God sort things out.

Where is the faith and trust that you proclaim to the ends of the earth??

About the above entry on "notifying the sending church" We fought that. We explained how individuals and multiple churches supported the same missionary. NTM wouldn't listen... It should be sent to ALL supporters. Just so you know...we tried. Cover up is the name of the game

We know you did your best, MK delegation!
It is clearly stalling after all this time.
It would be nice to have the matter become CLEAR to
ALL supporters too.

Do you know if the churches concerned contacted Gary Earl or NTM and ask for an explanation?

In my experience few pastors are interested in what missionaries get up to. It seems to much of an inconvenience to ask any questions, just easier to keep sending money and not cause any embarrassment.

Alas money seems now to be the only message that gets through. Faith has been downgraded.
