When my parents returned from the field for the last time, they had no place to stay. So they came to stay with me in my little bachelor pad.
Without wishing to blow my own trumpet, lets just say the terms of accomodation were very generous and almost every need was catered for.
At the time, I rode a motorbike (as well as riding a bike) and one day my lawnmower broke down. So I asked my father if I could borrow the car someone else had given him, to get said implement to the repair shop.
His reply was "No! It is God's car".
Perhaps I am overly cynical based on years of exposure to interesting theology, but I wonder if one was to ask said organisation to open the coffers for assistance to aforementioned conference one might hear "No! It is God's money".
