"prepare for the worst, but hope for the best"

I have lived that for so long... that now when some really good things happen in my life I have a hard time realizing that it is for real, that it is true that good things come to those who wait..

So, now I wait for the BIG turnaround. I wait for the fall of the high and mighty (as they would have seen themselves)...
I wait for NTM to call forward those who have messed up the lives of so many innocents and then hold them accountable for what they have done.
I will not wait in vain.
It will come.

That's very interesting. I too have found my life considerably more settled since embarking on this mysterious voyage of discovery that looks deep into the past and sees what it for what it really was.

The one thing I have had to navigate through is the dire predictions of doom that will come my way by looking into this. It's the old guilt scenario, but with the benefit of hindsight and the experience of decades, I can finally look at the merchants of doom and say "not this time, you can't pull the wool over my eyes with that routine" and that feels pretty good.

Or being good Kiwis (from the land of many many sheep), we could whip out our shears and start clipping all those other sheep with wool in front of their eyes.

O.k. so who is first?

You may have to pull their heads out of the sand first.
Do your shears do that too?

And all that sand will dull the shears.
So you will need to continually sharpen them.
You will need a fulltime staff.
Choose carefully.
You know where THAT can lead.

This is the country that invented modern shearing, so we have the very best equipment, none of that cheap Australian rubbish, pure quality.

O.k. ready for the first sheep. No this way, oops you've banged into a wall, of course you can't see, you have wool over your eyes. Now this won't hurt. Snip, Snip, Crunch (bit of sand), Snip, Snip.

What do we do with all this wool, anyone want a pair of sox?

P.s. No we can pull their heads out of the sand first if neccessary, there are medical ways of making sure that procedure is successful .

And I guess that is called "Reaching Out."

No it is called "Shearing off". As oppossed to "being fleeced", which of course good Kiwis would never do, well not to anyone we respected, liked or was on the same shearing gang. Of course if someone fleeced us or tried to do so, then lookout, feathers will fly (well Kiwis don't, but our feathers can).

Ummm, everyone familiar with the terms "Shearing" and "being fleeced" ? Further explanations available .
