Today is a good day,
Tomorrow who knows?
But today I am thankful
For the what truth surely sows.
Lies are deceptive,
And I know this for sure.
I've believed them beyond
what my heart can endure.
I've looked through green glasses (thanks for the idea Raz) 
And they've messed with my hue.
When what I saw was black,
The others saw blue.
My friends tried to tell me,
That I couldn't see.
Inside, I'd panic
'Made no sense to me.
I now find that what I knew
Of JESUS was off.
His character messed with
In my mind at all cost.
So, what I held on too???
Was nothing but air.
For lies are but refuse
That can't pay the fare.
Revelation I pray for
To know who he is,
For I'm starting over
With my faith. I am HIS.
Some days I wil smile and some day's I will cry,
To know my emotions that go on are okay?
Is strangely quite calming.
And so I smile for today.....
Today is a good day,
Tomorrow who knows.
But right now I am thankful
When my faith in God grows.
