Meanwhile, Bemused freely admits he is not perfect and is capable of monumental stuff ups. That is because his closeness to divinity is considerable. However this does hopefully make him a more of a "loveable human" than a "painfully pious Saint".

While the sporting world watches the little guys from somewhere take on the very rich boys and learns that Kiwis for all their faults play a hard and fair game. NTM is also learning this lesson (the hard way), that sometimes the little guys are the one who will force "truth and transparency".

The Religion Newswriters Association! This is a really big deal! This group contains journalists who have previously been very hesitant to expose the dirty laundry being hidden in Christian churches and organizations. Exposing child abuse and the poor response to that abuse is a daunting assignment for reporters who write about religion. It is such an ugly, uncomfortable subject.

I am thrilled that Boz is going to be addressing this group at this conference. He is a straight-shooter. He will not sugar coat this topic. Let's pray that he will shake up these reporters, and that will lead to a greater exposure of just what is going on. Victims are finding their voices and speaking out, but the present response of churches, mission organizations, and Christian schools and universities is in most cases very poor.
