I'm optimistic about the year 2016 and I think most humans do get it right.

Look how far we have come as a society. Women have rights now and are not chatels. Children are not beat for trivial matters. Sexual orientation is not the big scary monster it was. And we haven't had a world war since 1945, even the cold war has thawed.

Oh and then I think of NTM and how it is still stuck in the arrogant dark ages and I remind myself that most of the world is filled with genuine compassionate individuals who enrich the lives of those around them.

Remember NTM is just a little stain on a big beautiful world, it's just that most of us got a bit stained by it.

Here's to a great 2016 and may the little stain fade away

What are obstacles to one person are challenges to another, it all depends on which glasses you have on.

Personally I found they were speed bumps, just to remind me that driving at 300 mph in a residential zone is not a good idea

Now I'm older and wiser, I've slowed down to 100 mph
