The administrators will often kindly remove a post if requested, however I think your post is most relevant. It gives us an insight into what others have been through. That is a major trauma and no doubt had has had very deep consequences.
We never know who reads our posts and your courage to tell this harrowing part of your life may just be what someone needs to help them through their journey.
As we share our experiences, we often find out that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence, in fact sometimes there is desert. But even in the desert there is hope and there is life, it just needs different conditions to nurture it.

Oh, maybe it is ok then, I just didn't want to offend and thought I should have sought my husband's counsel before I submitted, he usually thinks like I do but once in awhile he is a bit wiser. He is checking out the BJU situation and wrote a small paper. I am so frustrated with how ABWE is treating the bangladeshmksspeak abused! From what I can tell they are selling their domain. They got no real results but at least many more are aware of Dr. Donn William Ketcham. When we were with ABWE we assumed he had an affair with a Bengali nurse and that is what made him have to leave and I reckon that is what they wanted us to think as yes he did have affairs with missionary nurse(s) before he became a pedophile. I guess better to think him an adulterer than a pedophile. Full stop.

Pamela I don't think Bangladeshmksspeak. wordpress.com is in danger of being taken it is still there. They also have a site on Facebook that is active. It just keeps becoming a longer and longer list of organization who refuse to acknowledge abuse happen in their organization.

As a group of survivors we keep adding more and more people. Eventually just because of numbers and our loud calling attention we will be heard. I am already seeing more and more people who haven't know about the abuse learning about it and see the terribleness of it. Just the other day I talked to a lady when she heard my story and found out that it happens with missionary kids. She couldn't believe it and wanted to know if there was any in her denomination. Yes we seem to lose some very important battles but we have not lost the war. When you look at the army that has been recruited on this site it would make a great TV show. Just picturing everyone in my mind is a pleasant encouraging thought. This site is of great encouragement to me. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, I usually am strong and don't give up easily but I just can't make sense of this. Abuse rampant, abuse revealed, and yet these organisations just keep on keeping on, oh yes, they give a little write up about their concern for past abuse and are going to make sure it doesn't happen again and then nothing! They even fire Grace, the one organisation that would be the best help in this area they could get. Yes, GRACE would reveal their findings but in the end GRACE would help them if they really wanted to continue and protect their young! My husband made a comment in our many discussions that with ABWE and BJU firing GRACE and NTM not hiring them for any of their other abuse investigations it might be to some seem like maybe GRACE does have a problem, the very thing he reckons is what these organisations want. Collusion, who knows? Full stop.

ABWE, BJU, NTM and every other organization do NOT want their dirty laundry aired...

They wish to continue is the obscurity and in so doing keep others in the DARK.

I look at it this way when they hire GRACE they have to pay them, good for us who love GRACE but can't pay their bills. When they fire GRACE it shows the world and us who they really are. I believe it helps GRACE when either publicly or in private we tell them how much we appreciate them. Just knowing GRACE is there and knowing they believe our stories is a great encouragement to me.

People and groups such as GRACE and others who stick their necks and reputations on the line to expose the scourge of child abuse, do respond with appreciation when they get a message of support.
I've had some really good exchanges with all sorts of people, it's well worth the effort of putting fingers to keyboard. And it is nice to realise that we are not alone in our struggle.

I guess those who want to believe these organisations are not corrupt in their dealing with abuse will believe what they want. My husband thinks something is "rotten" that Steven Jones resigned (due to health issues, he has vertigo) right before the GRACE investigation was to be finished. Same scenario as Michael Loftis and ABWE. Both presidents resign and then GRACE is fired. There is a strategy here. Full stop.
