I did my first rebellion in third grade at Mamou when some of us got together outside the dorm and yelled "Down with the Point System" a form of discipline by which they could remove privileges from those they didn't like. I didn't get caught but my friend did. Interesting that those of us in the group were not ones who were being disciplined by losing privileges But even as children we knew they were not being fair. So I don't know of a time when I wasn't a trouble maker that is just who I am if I think it is unfair. Long live the rebellious.

This classic story was part of my homeschool curriculum when I was in middle school. A very gory, creepy story for an 11 or 12 year old! That's probably why I haven't forgotten it.

If I tell you that I too have had the reputation of being rebellious most of my life, would you be shocked at that also?
