Slight problem with the Short Bus trip to Chicago. Been busy trying to sort it out. The Aussies decided that we should make our European MK colleagues feel at home and bring some genuine 100% British beef with us. So they suggested if we bring Mr Ed, they would bring their favourite race horse "Hoof Hearted".
Alas the immigration officers in California aren't so gullible as the British public and soon realised that Mr Ed and "Hoof Hearted" were in fact horses not beef at all (if you've missed the horsemeat scandal in Europe, this is going to sound a very odd story). So the Short Bus has been delayed a while, as the Aussies try and explain why we are trying to bring two old horses into California and pretending they are prime beef.
Will be back on the road shortly, just need the Aussies to sort out the mix up.

Ya darn right it don't smell good on the Downunder Short Bus. Mr Ed is not a Kiwi and it is morally wrong of them Aussies to try and pass him off as prime beef. As for "Hoof Hearted", good grief, ya better stand up wind of him!!!!!

Seriously though, have been away with Mrs Bemused on some projects she has been working on. We cycled a new cycle trail that she helped design (fantastic country to cycle through, if you get the chance) and then we had to shoot up to the other end of the country for another project.
Have a mountain of correspondence to work through and a dog who needs a run.

It's a beautiful city!

It would be great to meet you. There is so much healing in abused MKs getting together. To actually see others who know and understand the abuse you have been through. To find ways to deal with the mental games we have to use to just lead a normal life. To retrain our brains to realize we are people of value. So many reasons for MKs to come to the conference.
