Where are you? Not physically where are you, but where is the real you? It's been years since we talked, for the monster is always about, making sure you say what you should. Someone very close to you asked me where you had gone, for they knew you as a happy carefree young woman and now all as they can see is the plastic smile and all as they hear is endless talk about what you did as a missionary and what the monsters god is doing for you both.
I know you can't break free from him, but I wish you'd stop and question why our family is so split and suddenly why its not just me who is the lone voice in the wilderness crying foul about the deeds of the past.
There is no more time to sit on the fence, our little community of NTM related people is individually having to make the choice to deny that evil took place or to look deep into their past and ask why and who?
Look deep into the eyes of the man you have been married to for over 50 years, do you see the truth anymore? Or do you see what I see, a self constructed monster who is covering evil all in the name of the god he thinks he has become. Look Mum look, before it is to late.

This is a gut-wrenching post, Bemused. Some of our parents were so susceptible to the brainwashing group-think cultic indoctrination of THE Mission. You are right, some of them will never break free in this lifetime.
Heaven is going to hold some big surprises for some of the dyed-in-the-wool Tribers we know and love.
I believe they will see things with greater clarity then. But it will be too late to restore broken relationships here on earth.
Such a high price to pay for being sold out to the cause.

Alas you are right, many of our parents were susceptable to the mind control that was being exerted upon them.
In my fathers case this was not really the case, because he is/was a master of mind control. In NTM he found the perfect vehicle to perfect his techniques and to justify to himself that what he was doing was for a Godly cause.
Words cannot describe the monster he has become and yet when you first meet him he comes across as the most sincere devout christian who ever walked this planet. After several interactions it suddenly dawns on you that he is trying to get inside your head and if you let him, he will control you.

Yes heaven will hold some big suprises for dyed-in-the-wool Tribers. But I am not entirely convinced my father will be one who will get a big suprise, because I'm not sure if a monster like him will be let in. As for my mum, she like so many of us has served her time in her own private hell and heaven will be a welcome respite and well deserved.

As one Triber who forgot to read the fine print stated upon meeting his Employer for the first time: "But, you said in your Father's house were many mansions, and if it were not so, you would have told me!"

Other women in NTM have suffered too.
We saw some of the effects, but didn't know why it was happening at the time.

Weep not for my mother, well not for who she has become, but who she could have been. For now she knows no other way and to attempt to change her now is probably futile. Let her live out the days she has left, but bring to accountability the person who made her this way, for he exploited opportunities presented to him in a cold and calculating manner. For her choices have all but been removed and she is but an empty shell that the ego of my father has filled, so that she will always do what he bids, no matter how bizzare and strange.

Who she could have become we will never know, but it is a saluatory lesson for us all. Our minds makes us who we are, guard them against those who seek to take them over or destroy them.

Me again. Long time no hear, don't worry it's not a problem, good to get the old fresh air in the brain.
But I've been thinking today, because I've been discussing funeral plans with a friend. If I kick the bucket before thee, you might want to bring your earplugs as I don't think the music line up is going to be quite to your liking at the send off. Thought I'd have Elton singing, "Your Song" and "Skyline Pigeon", and something by Cat Stevens. Yes shock horror, Elton is gay and Cat is a Moslem.
Doesn't matter to me, I admire both of them for what they have accomplished in life. See we are different. When I was a child it was endless lectures on the evils of the Catholics. Then when you came home and the government was decriminalising homosexuality, you personally attacked gay men. Now you have a new crusade, you hate moslems, because you fear they are going to take over the world.
But hang on a minute, aren't you BRITISH, a country that colonised more than anyone else (remember the Boston Tea Party) and then you joined NTM who are committed to spreading their brand of christianity to the world.
So where did all this hate come from? Your brothers aren't like that and they're not even christians as you keep telling me. You even disliked your fellow NTM missionaries because they weren't as dedicated to the cause as you. Remember the one who took your beloved Bible reference book, you were very angry with him, but the fact that he was jailed for molesting a child, that was "no concern" of yours.

So here I am, your son with a "Bitter Spirit", who doesn't hate the gay male nurses he works with, or the Moslem Doctors, or the Catholic Philipino nurses.

So just where did you learn to hate so many people?

I've just added another list to the Summary of Abuse. You'll know this person, he was our neighbour and he went to jail for what he did.
Perhaps now would be a good time to come clean about what you were up to in your time in NTM. I know that you have covered up for other paedophiles and I strongly suspect you have known about this offender too, long before I told you the news 2 months ago.
My investigation into the matter shows that some of the New Zealand NTM and ex NTM missionaries knew about the jail term, but none told their children, yet they had young children like you did when you associated with him. Why?
NTM Australia does not want to answer any questions about why they covered this up. I know you very well and I know what you are capable of doing and I know some of the things you have done in the past. I know you didn't resign from NTM, you were terminated by NTM Australia. Why?
Why do I feel very uncomfortable when I see you with young children? Is it because I flashback to something that happened between us when I was ten?
I have nothing to loose, so I can keep digging till I find out what it is you are hiding, or you could just tell the truth. Your choice.
