No, I suspect no radical change is going to happen, unless there is a bigger force applied.

If there is no compulsion to change, no significant change will result, as vested interests will ensure that the status quo remains the same or is modified only on the edges.

It's not just fiction, it's sick and perverted logic!!!!!! And any church that engages in this sort of pathetic excusing of criminals should have their congregation walking out in droves!!!!!!!

Any Pastor, Priest or Mission organisation leader who condones this sort of pathetic excusing of child molesters deserves to be defrocked, demoted and defunded!!!!!!!

And the only people who can do that is US!!!!!!!!!! Not just in ones and twos, but en masse!!!!!!!!

If we don't, then we might as well flush the message of Christ down the toilet and hang our heads in shame!!!!!!

As a person who is still a committed Christ-follower, I too, say that the godless response of the organization we are all too familiar with is one that brings great disgrace to Christianity.

If the members of this organization knew what attorneys who are defending child abuse survivors have to say about the attorneys representing the organization, they would be incredibly sad and ashamed.

"Flushing the message of Christ down the toilet" is an appropriate way to describe what has happened over the last five years.

My heart is broken over this. Over the deterioration in ethical, responsible behavior that has brought us to where things now stand.

Surely Christ is weeping too.
