I applaud you for the tenderness of heart you have shown many times. And for your encouragement.

Sherpa - I think you are missing something about Gene Long. I. too, had some issues with him a while back. However, since that time I have come to have comapssion on him.

Try to put yourself in his shoes. He was defamed/slandered to the country officals where he served. NTM stopped interacting with him and he had no recourse to get the accusations reversed but to sue.

NTM backed down after that but Gene was never "heard." NTM has never apologized. Of course, this still stings. Of course, this still inflames. Of course, his soul aches with the fact of not being vindicated.

The suit only stopped NTM from detroying this man's career and influence in a country he loves. His pain of what NTM has not had any soothing healing to this day.

Sherpa, try to put yourself in his place. You may not like all his posts but this man is hurting - and he was abused.
