Sorry to be so negative but I don't have much faith in all these explanations, seems they are now explaining their explanations. I agree with Aussie I don't see any hope in NTM ever really coming clean, just my opinion mind you. It is good, however, these explanations are getting published and then posted. Full stop.

It seems to be an excuse to change anything they want
Any time they want
So they don't have to stick to any particular guidelines
At all.
ie: They don't answer Lori if they don't like what she is saying.
It doesn't seem to matter if one writes Intelligently
Politely/ Frantically/ Sarcastically/ Charmingly
With good practical sense/ With discernment----
They will just ignore you if they don't like what you are
Saying/ Asking.
And that is rude.
Just to say it nicely.

After more than 70 years they still don't have the administrative duties figured out?????

In my 27-year missionary career in NTM, I read many, many documents, letters, articles and memos from New Tribes headquarters and leaders.

I have to say, the way these documents are written/worded makes me feel like they were written by a hand I do not recognize.

I know Brian Shortmeier signed the first letter, but really .... whose words are these?

Granted, I have been out of the mission for 13 years. I am familiar with how Ken Johnston, Macon Hare, Mel Wyma, Leroy Larson, Dean VanVliet and others worded their letters.

Maybe I have just been gone too long.
