The hypocrites. The Wesleyan Church is another name for Methodists. And unless I'm grossly mistaken the Methodist Church is a member of the World Council of Churches.

My parents got into severe trouble with NTM for attending a church that belonged to the WCC. It was deemed such a sin that two members of NTM Australia flew into NZ (it is 3 hours flight) and gave them an earful.

So now you are telling me that Crossview has alligned itself to the WCC, Sanford must be having a fit. That explains a few things about the fallout.

Can't wait for the explanation on this one.

I think the simple explanation is that when NTM was choosing a name that they thought would be appropriate for their new Band of Brothers who aren't really brothers but have been living in the same house for 70 years but now want to act like they don't know each other so let's pick a new last name that nobody will recognize .... I think when they picked the new name Global Partners, they forgot to use their computers (which each of them had, sitting on the table in front of them ... nice new ones with all the bells and whistles) to Google that name. Because IF they HAD ... they would have noticed that name had already been chosen by the Wesleyan Church for THEIR mission arm!

Has Crossview somehow got their websites mixed up.

This is absolutely fascinating.

If it's a genuine mix up because someone didn't do their homework then the Wesleyans have got a problem with the association.
If it is a genuine connection, this is a whole new ball game and explains a few things.

But which is it?
