Aussie, I love your passion and your chainsaw!

I don't think I actually had any bubble to burst. The silent-parent phenomenon is something I've observed for 20 years and been baffled by. This open letter was just a flying leap of faith into the unknown. I had no idea where this would lead, and the continued silence of most parents is just more of the usual, as you point out.

Of course Mr Larry Brown is not going to distribute this letter to the faithful (who have lost the ability to think for themselves). This letter is saying the boarding school concept in itself was horribly, reprehensibly WRONG. No small child of 6 or 7 (and even some who were only 5!) should be separated from their parents for months at a time. No mission is ever going to admit that this was ALL WRONG.

But I am going to keep pointing that out, anyhow. For as long as I am alive.

(Maybe on that day when they did the operation to remove part of my brain, the scalpel slipped, and instead they removed my ability to shut up! Keep that chainsaw sharpened up, Aussie ... I may borrow it one of these days!)

Sister Raz, you don't want to borrow my chainsaw. It's a man sized chainsaw and you're a lovely delicate individual with a soft gentle nature. Leave this monster chainsaw to a hardened divorced Aussie shiela from beyond the black stump, you just cleverly use that scalpel, o.k.
So now you are wondering why a woman like me has an enormous chainsaw. Simple, inherited it. Previous owner a bunch of limpwristed pathetic excuses of males who couldn't start it because they didn't have the brains and muscles to pull the cord and couldn't find the nice ignition switch. O.k. I've now insulted all the males who read this, man up and get over it, or actually do something for a change. O.k. we've got a couple of good blokes who support us and post here, but the rest of them are hiding or out waiting for the lord to guide them. So sisters it is up to us, time for operation chainsaw and if your man isn't listening, rev up your chainsaw or sharpen your scalpel.
Don't bother waiting for a reply from Mr Larry Brown, hit him where it hurts, get Mrs Larry Brown to start thinking and give her a scalpel too. We are not some dumb blonde accessory that looks good on the arm of the brave missionary husband and brings in the cash with our charm and gorgeous looks. Hell no!
And if you touch our kids, lookout!!!!!

Apologies to any real men who read this and are doing something about it.
