Meanwhile back at the river someone is shining a light from above the falls, onto the pond below. Hello, hello, hello, what's that reflection? Two large red eyes reflecting back, on top of a big grey log looking thing. And look the log is moving slowly towards the beach, where all the picnicers are tucked up fast asleep.

My hand, holding my candle, is feeling a bit shaky these days. I hope my candle doesn't fall to the floor.

I carried my candle into what I thought was a house filled with candles. I expected that my candle would join many other candles, and together we would light up the darkness, exposing evil and bringing hidden secrets out into the light.

Instead, I found that most of the illumination in this place was from those electric or battery-powered lights that are made to look like candles, but they aren't real candles.

The things that look like wicks from a distance, up close, are only pieces of plastic, with artificial light inside them.

There is no true warmth. There is no real flame. There is also no danger of an actual fire being ignited here. No concern about this house burning down.

This house is cold. And I feel out of place, and rather melancholy as my candle trembles, and tears well up in my weary eyes.

So many hopes and dreams. Not coming true.

Hey Raz, Elton had the same problem, his "candle in the wind" kept going out.

But I do have a spare light sabre if you'd like to have it. Makes a lovely swishing sound when you wave it about and is rechargeable.
