What a journey!
No one could have prepared us.

Reading all your comments once again makes me wonder about the hypocrisy of ntm. In Boot camp days for me at least, no mothers did work detail. Even if the child was 18 and in high school all day. In my mind it was ntm saying hey, your children are important. You need to provide them a loving, open home. Make it clean and comfortable and live with the important role of motherhood in mind.
I wasn't too smart then because in the same year I was learning how mk school was the thing to do. Once your children turned six or so, you were to send them off to a boarding school to be raised, if you worked in a village. So that your all important ministry in the village and your role as wife to the mighty husband could be met properly. Sort of hypocritical.
And definitely unbiblical. Nothing in the Word says sacrifice your children for the sake of the gospel.
