Am I understanding you all correctly? The Ntm members still haven't heard about Scott?????

Disgusting. Ntm must feel invincible to lie directly to press. They will probably use the excuse that the press can sometimes embellish and they never said they would tell the members of the organization.

Scott was a consultant. Though his ministry was in West Brazil he traveled in E. Brazil too. Translated for one of the seminars there. So just out of decency for any who had come in contact with him the mission should notify its members so parents can take appropriate measures and find out if any of their children who may have had contact with him were violated. Or any of the national children.

But why would Ntm do that???? Once again I am living in my deluded half full glass syndrome thinking that Ntm would care for victims and not protect criminals.

Graham Edwards was a hard working NTM missionary. I liked him, he stood up for me, when few others did.

He went to jail, when he got back to New Zealand, because he was a sex offender.

His family asked NTM to make known the case to other NTMers, they refused. Graham and I went on a trip together, we slept in the same room. No one ever asked if I was o.k. Graham also looked after children, no one ever asked if they were o.k.

Of course this is all Crossview Australia's fault, right? No I don't think the split had occurred when this happened, but the Australians did have the final say on the matter.

If you really think that NTM has the best interest of victims at heart, take a good hard look at history, because my suggestion is that it will shortly repeat itself. I could be wrong, but I could also be very right.

Graham Edwards was my neighour in two countries, I am not an only child, think very carefully what that means. Now think about what my father said, when confronted about this, "It is no concern of mine". My father claims he is speaking on behalf of NTMers, if you trust men like my father to get this right, you are very very deluded!!!!

No one asked if I was O.K., no one cared enough to ask. Because it never happened in to many minds.

I am still waiting for my family to ask me that question... My school is being investigated and 4 out of 5 of my dorm parents are on the abuse list... STILL WAITING.. Do they really care?

They might think they care. But the message they are sending to you, by not asking, is loudly and clearly the opposite.

The message I'm getting by the silence is, "In my house their are many rooms and many closets, do not open those closets because we tell you not to!".
I'm not listening either and I have a lovely big bunch of keys and friends with flashlights.
