If NTM or any other mission were to close down, my personal view is some of the proceeds of the assets liquidation should go to the people we rarely seem to hear about, the indigenous people who's countries we were guests in.
Yes the missions did some good, but I suspect considerable damage was done by some as well.
Alas the cynic in me would be not inclined to see any fairness in the process, those who have a habit of looking after their own interests first, will continue to do so, with a plethera of justifications of as to why they should have a good slice of the cake and the crumbs should be allocated after they have finished dining. Lawyers and leaders would be first in the line up, followed by the faithful who never deviated from the mantras, trickling down to Heretics and Agnostics
