Scott Kennel in jail, justice won. He may not be from the era from which most of us were MKs but his removal from society is an enormous step on the road to justice.
How many little children will never have to demand and fight for justice, because this monster has been locked away? We don't know, but his arrest will be sending shivers down the spine of every other offender who is hiding in NTM and other such organisations.
Imagine if this pervert had been able to get to the summer camp he was heading to, imagine how many more lives he would have ruined.

NTM has suffered greatly with much of the bad publicity of recent times, that is justice served.
Yes individual battles for justice may well be lost, but he war goes in our favour.

So he'll praise her every move
And spends her life searching
For her happy little groove

But she lives with her insecurities
Terrified her man will cheat
Scared every passing stranger
Will give her kids drugs to eat

Some worries are irrational
Some genuine concern
But she can't tell the difference
And life is on the turn

No one to really talk to
To scared to open up Pandora's box
So the past is kept
Securely under locks

And it always will be
Till one day life falls apart
And she realises she never healed
From her childhood broken heart

Apparently we both know her.

Oh. There is more than one woman like this? How many?

So sad. So very sad.

Probably many and some men to.

For some there is the tendency to create the opposite of what we grew up with. I.e. if one came from a home where there was conflict, divorce and craziness, then often a surreal world of the perfect marriage and family is created.
Take my own existence as an example. I've often felt my childhood ended when I was about 13, so I've gone back in someways to make up for that loss and create situations which somewhat resemble what I lost. It is also a major contributing factor why I "retired" very early, as sort of compensation effect.

For some it works, for some it doesn't because the insecurities and problems that led to the over exaggerated lifestyle have not been dealt with and the danger is that it will all come crashing down.

And that is where we come in, to pick up the pieces and offer comfort and healing if it does.

That's right.

We are here. Aren't going anywhere.
