Post subject:  Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches (IFB)

This article was just published in the Star-Telegram of Ft Worth, Texas.

Joy Evans Rider, a rape victim who is featured in the article, served for many years in Papua New Guinea with New Tribes Mission. She grew up in a cult-like church in Indiana, where church leaders could never be questioned or confronted, and went from there to a cult-like mission organization, where again, the leaders could never be questioned or confronted.

The similarities are striking.

The secular media is beginning to take a hard look at unaddressed abuse and cover-up in the Protestant Christian world ... particularly in fundamentalist environments where law enforcement is rarely notified.

Perhaps a time of reckoning is on the horizon.

And it is about time the media had a damn good hard look at what the pious protestants have been covering up and why there are so many gutless wonders who don't fight for innocent kids who have their lives ruined by these creeps!!!!! Real men take these creeps round the back of the church and teach them a lesson they won't forget. Non of this forgive and forget crap, so they can move on to the next poor victim!!!!!!

Yes, I think the media is waking up.

There are many, many more stories to be told.

They may be busy for quite a while .... fly high, and raise your voices, eagles!! :)

Things are beginning to move. It has been very discouraging because the progress is so slow. But I believe things are looking up. The MeToo movement has made many people more open to listening and believing.
Rachel keep up your good work.

If I continue to hammer....like Sean Hannity..it is because that is what it takes to get the attention of the religious establishment.....you must wake them up out of there everyday cushie routine..I thought once that machine gun fire would help but DISMISSED it as an ineffective tool..!!
Education his the key....for many are ingnorant of the ramifications of child abuse.....forgive and forget idiocy.!!...more like it.!!
