Howie Beardslee was killed riding his bike. He is one who gave his story in All God's Children.

Those of you who were MKs who went to boarding school know many of us feel our class mates are family. Remember in your thoughts and prayers Howie's family and also his Mamou family.

Rest In Peace fellow MK
Alas we got not the chance to meet
But we admired your courage
To the past overcome and beat

You've left the world a better place
For speaking as you did
And shining a light on the unspeakable
That for so long alas was hid

So Rest In Peace
Till we trudge up one by one
And we can together say
Our job on earth was well done

Bemused thank you. I would like to share this if is ok with some who knew him.

My thoughts, prayers and sympathy are with all who knew and loved Howie.

We DO know how close MKs get at school.
It must be very hard to lose such a friend/ brother.
We appreciate the fact that Howie spoke out for abused MKs.
We pray for his family and friends.
