[b]I am wondering about something. I have heard of abuse that took place from older students. Some of the kids who were molested were minors, and the other students 2 to 3 years older, and not a minor. In some cases it was at the time mutual, but still sexual contact with a minor. In some cases there were multiple students involved in the sexual activity and same sex activity. How should this be handled and should these students be reported even if it happened a long time ago? I even heard about it happening to Brazilians from town with older students from the school. |

This would be some of it. But some going back even alot further. Other's all the way through the 80's and 90's. Male and female students. |

Maybe some students who have experienced things at the hands of older students should think about this. How old were they, what happened. Was this person doing this with other younger students? Should the people in town who were affected by some of this behavior be questioned? Some of them are adults now but remember and still talk about things that happened to them many years ago, by mks living on the land and downtown. |

This is the first I have heard of this. How scary. and how sad that it happened for so long without anyone knowing or saying anything. I don't even know what to say. |

I don't necessarily believe that you can blame it on the parents. In some cases, yes, but in other cases no way. I've known some parents who were the nicest, most caring, very reasonable, down to earth, God fearing, righteous people who's offspring were completely opposite from their parents in every way possible. And I have known some parents that you'd like to just slap and tell them "What's wrong with you?" for being completely out of control, and their offspring again turn out the exact opposite of their parents. There are a lot of influences on a child's behavior and morals, and sometimes, they even turn out like that all on their own. Just an observation. |

It's very likely the abusing children/young adults were abused as children. "95% of child abusers were themselves abused" |
