This song is dedicated to my wife, who at that this moment is headed back from a 2-day camp in Jasper, GA, along with the entire 7th and 8th grades of the school our kids go to. According to the handout, they should be back at 3:45, but I think I'll leave work even earlier....might have a flat tire on the way.....the school is at least 3 miles from work.

I'm learning:

I don't have to try to scoop all the water out of the Jordan River for the people to pass

God will handle the water

or run upstream and throw a little mud in the water

or shoot the rope that holds the raft/ferry

or maybe I can talk to my neighbor AchanAspirin and tell him to remember not to grab anything he shouldn't once we get to Jericho


Miles: thanks for teaching me how to work. I will always remember those grades we got on our work detail. If it hadn't been for that, maybe I wouldn't have applied myself as much at other things in life.

Were you closer in age to my dad or Hudson? You were at Via with both of them, weren't you? Your dad was the first dormfather at Via, correct? Didn't you guys live down there by the train station? Why did the mission pick Vianopolis? Why so far? Was it because it was on/near the railroad?

I have the sneaking suspicion God has a plan in all of this.
