Right now, in our small city, a court case is all over the newspaper: Teacher accused of and convicted of having sex with a student.

At least the parents, other teachers, the victim, have had this satisfaction . . .73,000 newspapers in circulation.

That MKs aren't afforded even the most basic rights of investigation--it's further declassification, humiliation, disenfranchisement (is this a word?)

I hear you AllBetter. I just got off the phone with my best friend and had just said that universities, schools, scout troops, and so on are believed when their abuser is exposed. But why the heck do MK's not receive decent treatment? Why do they have to prove anything? We should be pulling alongside of them exposing the hypocritical perpetrators of the crimes? Why do churches continue supporting ntm and other agencies that molested children and damaged lives? Why does ntm not give a rip? Just how were their consciences so seared that they believe God's ultimate concern is building the church and stepping on the innocent children under foot is godly? What the?

I received an email yesterday from someone working with Rich Ramirez, IHART, asking me for my address so that they could send me the final report. Has anyone else received this request? Looks like they are gearing up to send those who participated in the investigation a copy (not sure if it is complete, or just the part that relates to our personal testimony.)

In other news....I forwarded the link to Lori's story on Gary Earl to some facebook friends, and heard back from a friend who said her contacts within NTM have requested that NTM be investigated as an organization. Not sure who would investigate, but this sounds promising, at least in regards to current members taking a stand and being outraged with NTM's decisions in harboring these perpetrators.

Has everyone written to Brian Coombs, requesting that Gary Earl be dismissed?

And how many people just shook their head and said that it was a waste of time, nothing would ever happen. Well doubting folks, it is happening now. Tribers are finally waking up, ICE has offered it's services, Raz has the media consulting her for articles, what more proof do we all want?

Some brave people stuck their necks out a long way to make this happen, we should be thanking them and if we were the ones who scoffed and poured scorn on their efforts, then it is time to admit being wrong and don't try and take the credit for what is now happening!!!!!!!!!!

Oh the job isn't finished. NTM still needs to be brought to it's knees and be begging for forgiveness and so do other missions. While there are offenders out there we have a moral duty to carry on.

Could be promising....but I'm wondering if the perpetrators of the crimes will once again be lost behind the scenes with yet another investigation of an organization. A double barreled approach will be more effective in dealing with the countless numbers of physical,psychological and sexual abuses swept under the carpet at NTM.

The longer we wait and hope for someone else to take a stand on our behalf the less chance we have of holding individuals and NTM accountable. There is a point at which enough is enough. LETS NOT WAIT AROUND FOR YET ANOTHER INVESTIGATION!

*Focus MUST be kept the specific perpetrators and their CRIMES. It is just that, CRIME!

NTM leadership has shown clearly that it will not address the countless CRIMES committed and hidden under their direction....that is, in legal terms...a CRIME.

Some of us are christians, believers, non believers, partial believers,hanging in there, ran for our lives long ago, can't face God after our abuses.

Any one of us can be at risk of taking a hands off approach and saying God will deal with this how he chooses in his time or I just can't face it. It's more comfortable that way...we don't have to step to close to the reality of the situation or take any responsibility for the outcomes.

You are ONE, standing among a MULTITUDE of people who feel the same way. Don't be afraid to talk to the person nearest you who may also be struggling with NTM's horrific history. Dare to talk about it, after you have talked a while, keep in mind that talk is cheap....DO SOMETHING. Look after and care for each other as you take these steps.


Jesus was proactive....not reactive....neither was he ever silent on issues of life.

I seem to recall in particular an episode in his fathers house with tax collectors and money changers in which he was very
proactive.

That's right, what Gary Earl, Scott Kennell and all of NTM's others offenders have done is crime. And anyone helping them is aiding and abetting or to put it bluntly, ALSO A CRIMINAL. That makes Sanford one big crime scene!!!!!!
Time to put a crime scene tape round the whole of NTM Sanford and call in the law. Get the media to document the action, get it on the front pages of every major newspaper and leading the evening news!!!!!!!!!

And watch the rats try scurry out the back door, with whatever they can carry.
