The movie, "Boys from Brazil," is loosely based on Wiesenthal's life/work. With Gregory Peck, Sir Laurence Olivier and James Mason (the bad guy in North by Northwest), the film begins in Paraguay and ends in Lancaster County (which is on the Road Past Emmaus, if you're coming from Bethlehem (which is where that missionary was born...the one I talked to on Monday on I-78 near LVI).

II Kings 6:8-23

On May 16, 1988, at or about 10:00 a.m., at 1202 E. Michigan Av., Jackson, MI, Mike Sullivan saved me from physical death. Mike taught me the Gospels, I & II Corinthians, etc. while I was at NTBI. Refresher course in 1983. It was a lot of fun. Birkemo scheduled all sorts of cool activities for us. We went skiing (made attempts; Holly Gorenflo was good at it) We went to a water park. We went roller skating (round and round holding on to the wall). We also heard updates on tribal work. But I specifically remember Duane Stous saying during one of the meetings how God was helping him to really believe in the power of prayer. I thought that was an interesting admission on the part of a veteran missionary. A few weeks ago, I heard an assistant pastor at Brooklyn Tabernacle describe a persistent struggle, and how just the night before He questioned whether God would ever answer. Early the next morning at 3 a.m., a pastor friend of his over a thousand miles in Dallas woke up with the BT assistant pastor on his mind and began praying for him. The Dallas pastor then texted encouragement, and by that night, Tuesday night, the BT assistant pastor reported to us how the burden had rolled away.
God is at work. He is drawing all people to Himself. He alone is able to bring healing. The gavel of justice is in his hand, but the punishment for my sins was borne by His Son. May I walk quietly and humbly before Him. May I confront with courage (Nathan/David; Elisha; Paul/Peter), may I be merciful as my Father has shone me mercy. I'm sure everyone read the text I posted above from II Kings. I'm more like the king who wants to kill the enemies. But notice Elisha's response.

I like the fact they have a 3 p.m. service.
