If you can read English, have a brain, a backbone and care about children,
please read the information below.
1) The parents called Executive Committee member Mel Wyma to report
the sexual abuse but were warned not to “destroy another man’s
ministry.” Mel Wyma informed the vicitm’s parents that David Brooks
was important and needed on the field.
GRACE REPORT, PAGE 32
2) Tom Bennet, NTM house counsel at the time, also suggested that one
of these documents should be destroyed (913). This is particularly
concerning in light of the fact that the 12/26/89 memo is nowhere to
be found today. This missing, possibly destroyed document could have
contributed significantly to the GRACE investigation.

3) In two separate emails to Scott Ross dated in 1997, Richard Rayl
referenced being approached by Dean Van Vliet and Macon Hare to
destroy a potentially incriminating document(899and903). In one note,
Rayl writes, “I am also concerned with the EC's cover up with the
Gates, wanting to destroy documents that would incriminate them. It
sounds a little like Texaco or some other corporation”

Neither the alleged offender nor the victim’s parents are to be advised of
the allegations unless there is a serious physical or emotional danger to
the minor victim.

service might do to the offender. Since NTM does not usually involve local
authorities in allegations and internal investigations, is NTM in some way
violating local law as well as jeopardizing the mission’s presence in that
country?"
