I am not aware of any disqualifying factors for financial donors, however. Checks, cash or credit cards all accepted. You could even donate your bike to some poor missionary candidate who doesn't have two cents to rub together and must walk or hitch hike everywhere he goes.

I've had a word with the dog and he was wondering when I donate the bike, complete with his good self. Will his title go back to front too? i.e. will there be a sign that says, "Pass with care, God" on board?

When "high moral character" is a requirement, it makes it all the more difficult to acknowledge you have sin in the camp.

In other words, how can you have a bunch of people of high moral character sexually abusing kids?

It's simpler to act like the kids don't exist or attempt to destroy their credibility, than it is to deal with the horror of the past decades.



If tribers actually believed the Bible (including Romans 7.....and Joshua 7), things would be a lot simpler.

I was told in November of 2010 that a New Tribes missionary (directly related to the man that sexually abused my sister) said we missionary kids "weren't walking with the Lord" and so nothing we said had to be believed.

Whether the other 3,000 missionaries would actually say that out loud doesn't really matter.....their silence confirms their agreement.

"Not walking with the Lord" = Not "in the work".

"The Work" takes precedence over all other matters: moral, emotional, ethical, legal or even spiritual.
