Just got a letter from IHART today (via e-mail) asking me for a personal interview. I wrote to them in early January, I believe. If it is any consolation, I didn't know that what I had to share was enough to warrant a personal interview. I think they are doing the best they can, but things are taking longer (perhaps due to many of us not writing in until what was supposed to be the "wrap up" deadline) than expected.
And Iron-man, my days are not particularly happy, especially in regards to the past, present or future state of NTM and the abuse suffered by those I love dearly!! I don't think there is much hope for that organization, nor can I say I particularly care what happens to it. It would be better for everyone if it were to cease to exist! However, because Via is the first school to be investigated by IHART, and because so many of those involved have refused to participate in the investigation (or even acknowledge a problem), the outcome remains to be seen. For that reason, I will whole-heartedly participate, and I urge others to do the same. If you have something to say, say it now. You can't blame IHART for not disclosing information they were not made aware of! Whether NTM participates without restraint or not (guess which one!), there should be enough evidence provided by those who attended their schools, those who witnessed abuse, to give pause to any lingering questions of NTM integrity!
