Is it OK to forgive but, in order to send a signal and protect children, spend the rest of your life dedicated to seeing an entity either deal with reality or extinguished?

If a pedophile abuses your sister and his employer knew about his propensities beforehand, and you forgive them all, can you still call the police....and keep calling the police the rest of your life until somebody, somewhere picks up the phone?

When the in-house counsel is brazen enough to suggest the destruction of documents, and such a suggestion actually makes its way into the final report, there is no telling how many documents, how many boxes of documents, how many filing cabinets of documents were destroyed.
