Yes alas you are probably going to be proved right. There will be more cases, but it is some consolation that MKs now have the confidence to speak up and action has been seen to be done.

It is more than likely they will be claiming they knew nothing about this offender. Which might or might not be true. They certainly got caught out when ICE swooped.

Did they know? Given that all comment has been deferred to "the authorities" I doubt we will ever really know. But I imagine it is quite uncomfortable at HQ, knowing that Scott Kennel will be being asked some point blank questions, the answers of which could have far reaching consequences for some people currently residing within U.S. borders and others contemplating returning to U.S. soil.

But we've heard all this before, offenders operating and the coverup mechanism going into full swing, the shredders working overtime. Just this time, I don't think many of us are believing much of what we hear anymore.

NTM had their chance to clean this mess up decades ago, they choose not to and now it is all coming home to haunt them, but this time the day of reckoning is being handled with an ICEy grip.

In other news, a number of the the handful of U.S. NTM missionaries still actually working overseas have permanently deferred their "home assignment", citing improved living conditions in their respective countries of operation. According to one missionary, "We live in a nice city, with good food and cinemas...we Skype our children regularly...we have a maid that does everything for us...we have facebook...there really is no need for home assignment anymore, especially as we are able to use social media to maintain recommended support levels from here".

When asked whether the recent internal communication had anything to do with the decision, no response was given.
