Darn tootin´you can have health issues related to abuse - a psychosomatic source is one of the suspected triggers for psoriasis, btw - it doesn´t mean you´re psycho, it means that there are physical manifestations of a psychological turmoil. You don´t even have to go far to find research about all of that.

Migraines, panic attacks, insomnia, nightmares (when I can sleep), loss of appetite, fatigue, depression, suicidal thinking, constant worrying, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, stomach issues, lack of concentration, unexplained bouts of rage, hyper-vigilance, full-body tension... what else? Ha.

@hurt n hopeful: I'm so thankful for this "faith family" of yours. Thankful that you've found friends who accept you as you are and that you feel you can be real with.

I realized last week that my loss of appetite was because I was grieving for all of us out here. I don`t recall ever grieving before. I joined in September so I guess that is enough grieving until the next sad tale of woe comes here. God has given me peace and my appetite back. Thank you Lord!

I like that description, Bonnie, full-body tension. Ok, so it was great the last two weeks having a break from the tension because of taking Vicodin for the knee surgery. But now that I'm weaning off of it, the tension is returning. Any ideas?
