Since NTM is not to be notified I take it you are suggesting that the abuse victim and/or person with knowledge of the abuse should report it directly to the police. I may be misunderstanding what is being said but I take it that means NTM should have no responsibility in this matter. But to me that means NTM is not responsible if abuse goes unreported. -- I am aware of a three year old (not MK) being raped and the police called immediately. The man was arrested within one hour of the incident and released two days later since he was deemed crazy to have done such a thing. He walks the streets today. Wish I could say third world justice was just.

Re: Goolde and the current corporate bosses: Only a point to ponder. I happened to attend a series of mtgs at the corporate hdqtrs and several of the bosses pointed him out as being very expert in Greek. He was their in-house counsel on that subject. At that time, their confirmation would tend to puff people up. But they were blind to who he really was. So it makes me wonder now, since those same ones are in power, what value their part in solving all of this really is. And the investigators who have been chosen by them. (Has anyone written to find out if these investigators are part of Mr. Ross' org?) Of course, there are the tears of remorse. Like Esau? And of course, the MKs had no choice in the matter.

I have sent the questions to Pat and she is working on them.

As far as I know, the only person NTM choose is Pat. She is going through applications and doing her own choosing, NTM has nothing to do with the ones that are investigating our cases. You can write right to Pat and ask her, to make sure, but that is what I understood from her update. She needs more FBI and law enforcement, so if you know any, give them her name and number. I have done that here with a Special Agent.

I have a question. First this observation. Having read this blog these three things stick out to me.

1) NTM is not reporting incidents to the police.

2) NTM should be notified after the police are notified.

3) Many people posting on this blog have knowledge of abuse or at least say they have knowledge of it.

I may be missing something but it seems to me that the people who have knowledge of abuse are not reporting it to the police either. Why not? --- It seems to me that they should be reporting it. Then let the police investigate and if needed force NTM to produce documents that many claim they hold.

I support Jane Doe and think her lawsuit should go before a jury so that all the facts can be layed out.

Unfortunately much of the abuse suffered by the MK's discussed here has passed the statute of limitations or was committed beyond the arm of the US criminal justice system at the time. The laws have since changed. Currently, Americans can be prosecuted for child sexual abuse committed overseas and the statute of limitations has been removed. Jane Doe #7 has filed a civil lawsuit against NT the entity.

My earlier point was prompted by the recent (and continuing) updates to the guidelines NT has set in place for its members regarding child abuse. I disagree with their recommendation of reporting to NT first. In fact, as I posted, Florida requires that a person report first to Department of Children and Family Services if abuse is suspected. I also found it interesting that listed under "mandatory reporting required by" was spiritual practitioner. You could argue that NT may in fact be mandated to report to the proper authorities.

According to Three Willows the statute of limitations has passed on those cases. That says to me that present law enforcement will not become involved. So if an investigation is to be done it would need to be done from a private sector with no crimanally binding consequences. I would think that experienced former investigators would be a positive for an investigation that can not be prosecuted. -- From outside observation GRACE was not fired. It was not hired to investigate other than the Fanda incidents. Possible reasons for not retaining GRACE I would gather from what people on this forum have said: 1) All the NTM schools should be investigated. 2) These investigation should be done now and completed quickly. 3) The GRACE report took over one year to do. - If there are ten schools to investigate, by retaining GRACE to do the investigations would mean that there would be a minimum of ten to fifteen years to finish such a report, a time frame which seems to be unacceptable to members of this forum. I am not trying to defend such a decision but sometimes what is being said doesn't add up to me.
