I just want to apologise to you all. I was part of the decision making group to have Ms Hendrix's e-mail address run through the NTM server. Stupidly and naively, with total lack of consideration for what affect this would have on you I agreed to this. I don't know what to say except I have am terribly sorry because this foolish decision has hurt you again, needlessly and most likely hindered moving ahead with the next set of historic abuse investigations. I really am truly sorry.

Maybe if I say it again and again and in a bunch of different ways, then somewhere, some day, a light will come on...

NTM: For an agency that prides itself on being able to enter the tight circle of a people group untouched by civilization, gain their trust, and then learn their language, culture and identity so intimately as to be able to communicate clearly on a level deep enough to discuss personal faith, you're not doing such a great job of learning the language, culture and identity of a people group destroyed by the horrors of abuse.

Wow, Sitting Duck, I really resonate with this observation! You make a very good point.
I also wonder about the level of Ms Hendrix's experience and expertise, if she herself did not question the wisdom of such an insensitive and inappropriate decision regarding the use of the NTM server for e-mail communications.
I'm questioning how fluent Ms Hendrix is too, in child abuse survivor language.
