As a matter of information, 1954 was the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac. Sherpa Dude and I were both born in that year, although he made his debut several months before I did. In any case, there has been some speculation afoot that perhaps that particular Year of the Horse was actually the Year of Some Portion of the Horse's Anatomy. I'm sure a good argument could be made to support that. But, a better argument can be made to dismiss it.
Sherpa Dude and I have danced upon about every issue that has been raised on these forums, often being the ones who brought the issues up to begin with. We've been on the same side of some threads, opposite sides of others and we've probably even invented some new sides that we didn't know existed before. In our dances, we've stepped on each others toes, strung our feelings out and even made beautiful music from time to time. What a wild ride!
Through it all, we've come to appreciate one another, love one another, respect one another. For being born in the Year of the Horse, I'd say we've done more than just horse around. Though, of course, we've done plenty of that, too.
Like Sherpa Dude, I've learned a great deal from all the posts on this forum. I see my own past in New Transparency Mission in a better light. Like Raz, I am ashamed of so much - too much to even begin to record here. Unlike Raz, I am not an MK; I confess that I can just barely begin to wrap my mind around the experiences that have been divulged here. How did you MKs survive at all? You've all been to graduate school in maltreatment; I've never been to kindergarten.
Keep at it, Sherpa Dude. You are learning... and we're all learning with you.
