Any MK input on this org? Secular or Christian org? How many years combined experience in this org? What happened to GRACE?

I tried to google Pat Hendrix, to find out more about her, but I didn't find anything.

We haven't heard what organization she is with either. Hopefully that info will be out soon. But I really appreciate the info that you passed on, Bonnie, about letting Andy know about any MKs that want to be on an email list for updates. An MK friend passed on to me that there will be a few teams working under this main administrator lady, hopefully tackling different schools instead of just working on one school at a time, and that everyone on the teams will be outside of NTM.

She was (or is) the Sexual Misconduct Ombudsperson for the Presbyterian Church (USA) during their investigations of the MK abuse over the past 40 years.

I did not understand from the update that she would be conducting the investigations herself or alone, but will be the coordinator.

Thank you, Bonnie, for being thorough, open and timely in your answers---about what you know and don't know. We'll all just have to wait. And hope it's worth waiting for!
BTW I also googled PH to the point of paying---which I was not willing to do. There was one PH in FL who is 110 years old! Lots of experience.

Well, this is progress, at least. This says they are actually DOING something, which was in question for some time, and I'm happy to hear that it will be handled independently of NTM. That is good news.

We should all be praying that God would use this person, and whomever is on her team, to really get to the bottom of this once and for all. Pray for the victims, as, once again, they will have to tell their stories, and as a result, relive every detail. Pray that the end result will be true healing for the victims, and justice for everyone involved.

I, for one, am still here, reading, praying, emotionally struggling with all of it. I pray this is the beginning of the end, so to speak, in this whole journey. I don't know that I can handle any more of this drama--the waiting for NTM to "man up!"

We should be praying too, consequently, for those MKs who, as of yet, have not ventured here, and for those who have ventured and have yet to acknowledge the pain here. We are all on this journey...and everyone is at a different stage of the trek.

Grateful as well for some visible/public movement from NTM. If PH is the same person who worked on the PC USA investigation then maybe we can learn something from their experience. The latest PC USA investigation took 6 years and was just concluded in october of '10 according to Christianity Today....if I remember correctly was a 500+ page document.

Looks like we'll all be hanging out for a while....c'mon over it will be fun! My house in Lebanon pa is always open to MKs. Had some MKs over last sat from Faith Acadamy in the Phillipines and some other crazy mks over the week before that from Brasil. :~)
