Has it gone out of style to ask diverse and disturbing questions?
Is it no longer a special place to bring all your "whatever?"
Skepticism and realism have their places as does sound teaching. Why are we saying that everything is ok and everyone is welcome and then closing the door on what we don't like?
"Nobody is going to fire cannons." Well, you have just done that and it wasn't pretty.
We must tell our stories.
We must also understand the biblical basis rightly for dealing with this.
BTW--the words "judge" and "judgmental" are being thrown around here with abandon. It's like so many are afraid of those words and even more of "doing" them. What is the truth about them? How has our society twisted them?

Sorry for the "bite." No patience for fruitless buzzing today. What we are about here is too serious.

I would say that those of us who have been abused CARE genuinely about the others here and about stopping future abuse. How could we not? We know what it feels like. ALL of us who have been abused know and care.

So, do we go on saying, "Please keep posting.........?"

i think people are speaking up for Andy's voice to be heard without constant harassment as well.

everybody's opinions are welcome, which necessarily means opinions about other people's opinions.

but, in some cases, it is not opinions about opinions that are being put forth. it is sarcastic or passive aggressive comments regarding the form rather than the substance.

Are leg humping and axe grinding the same thing?

Not recommended simultaneously.

Thanks, rroym. It would be good if this applied to everyone. How can anyone think he/she can see into someone else's heart?

I'm glad you can say what your position is without having your heart evaluated by someone else.
And it is VERY true that the MK and the missionary positions, even if both have been abused, are SO different.
