Are there any? Fanda Eagles, maybe? I see NTM has not posted one since the 5th.

Maybe the monitor person has told them what we think of their updates.

Maybe we could try writing some updates for them. I'm not sure mine will be as informative as theirs normally are, but here is my attempt:

Q. How much longer does NTM intend to drag this out?

A. We had no idea that all of this abuse had gone on; we were totally blindsided by it. We didn't even know that Joel Price had worked with children in Venezuela; we honestly thought all he did was mow grass and fix plumbing. It's not really possible to know everything about everyone in a mission as large as ours, the second largest in the United States. I'm sure you can appreciate that we've had our hands full just keeping track of kids kissing in the pool. We have now instituted a zero-tolerance policy for pools.

Speaking of pools, Larry Brown won the office pool on how many signatures the petition would attract. Sadly, he lost it all again on the office pool as to whether or not Mrs. M would publicize his reply without his permission. This was the heart behind the ban on pools, by the way.

As future reports of past abuse and present come up and we learn more we will handle them in a way that is open and transparent to all those we think need to know. Thank you for your patience.

I really like your updates much better than theirs, Gene. At least yours is honest.

I asked them on their facebook page. This was the response: "Progress was made, but those responsible for reporting were out of the office last week. You should see an update this week."

Today, on their Facebook page, in response to my original question:

"We're really disappointed, along with you, that no update will be published today. Key people necessary to approve a statement are in Fanda related meetings today."

I just checked the NTM website.
The last updating of the Fanda Update was on Nov. 24.
I think December is a totally lost month.
I just pray 2011 won't be a totally lost year.
