May I say, just to be controversial:
Just because we don't see things happening the way we want to see them happening to NTM/Ethnos360 doesn't mean they aren't happening. There is a vast and just as real (if you believe it, as NTM/Ethnos360 certainly does) spiritual world that is the realm in which God/the Holy Spirit mostly work nowadays. I don't believe for one second God has given NTM/Ethnos360 a pass on the evils they have accomodated by turning a blind eye to what they knew to be true. Oh, it's happening guys. I have to admit that it would be much more gratifying to see them pay for what they have done(or allowed to be done) now, but I get that Gods ways are higher than my ways. I know that God has made it known in no uncertain terms that his precious little ones will be avenged. NTM/Ethnos360 is fooling no one, except those who are already drinking the koolaid or choose to turn a blind eye.
What about that Biblical concept of who God loves he disciplines?
So either they're about to be grounded for a VERY long time, or they're headed for a much worse place.
Can I get an AMEN?!!!
I'd like to give you an amen, 2ndGenNTMmk, but this is a tough one for me.
Does it feel like God has given NTM a pass on the evils committed against innocent, defenseless children? I will be honest and say that from my perspective, now 65 years after my parents first took me to the Fouts Springs Boot Camp, it does feel like the child abusers in NTM -- and the mission itself -- have been given a shrug and a pass by the Almighty. I know who a lot of these vile offenders are/were. I have seen their names. I have heard the stories. And many (probably most) of the worst offenders have already died, taking their wicked secrets with them. Some of the others are living at the NTM/Ethnos360 Retirement Center in Sanford. They pray their pious prayers and sing their sanctimonious songs, and one of these days, they too will die, and at their funerals, great praise will be heaped on them, and not a word will be breathed about the children they beat or berated, or about the child molesters they covered for.
And Ethnos360 just keeps chugging forward ... expanding, morphing, raking in the money from the naive, blindly loyal supporters, who either ask no questions, or have accepted the glib, scripted answers to the questions they dared to ask.
I know this sounds pretty cynical ... but I have grown weary of waiting for justice - from man or God.
You are not being controversial ... we welcome your thoughts. Not trying to shut you down, and hoping this doesn't come across that way.
