Tears over that one.

Prayers that break my heart must also break the heart of God.

Anyone else felt like praying that the plane would crash when Uncle was on it? Or that one of your parents would get sick and you'd have to go home? Or the school would burn down and you wouldn't have to go back?

Then felt guilty for having such wicked thoughts and wondering if you should confess them in one of those communal confession sessions that were held and notes were taken at.

2016!
6 1/2 years of waiting and working for truth, justice and help for the abused MKs.
Some hint at surprises in this new year.
I hope so!
I hope so!

Is 7 the magic number?
Was it July 2009 that FE appeared on the scene?
Of course, the Fanda MKs had been working on this before that.
Approaching those culpable individually.
As it should be.
But it didn't work.

As shouldn't happen
In a bright, light world where people care about others.
As we were taught we should be in our training.
HA!
Little did we know the dark, dark secrets those "leaders" were hiding.
Makes you wonder………..
Bec some of them just keep on as if there were no secrets.
They should know that some others know now.

They know how dark….
Even if they keep acting as if nothing ever happened
When they were teens
When they were younger
Than they are now
People know……
Other people who are not the ones they abused.

I would say, in general, it feels like after all this time, interest has waned.

I remember the early days here on Fanda Eagles. Energetic conversations were going on on several threads at once, some days. We still have over 400 "members" on our list, and most of those posted at least once ... but almost all have gone silent. Over 6 million hits on this site since 2009, but very little activity here these days.

Some people have told me they just had to take a break from reading. It was all too much. Too depressing. Too hopeless.

I am pretty sure that part of the strategy of the attorneys who are directing the progress of this struggle is to keep dragging things on for so long that people do lose interest. That they stop discussing. Stop reading.

The attorneys probably feel that their strategy is working.

There were some mission members who tried to ask hard questions in the past several years. Missionaries who rose up to take a stand, hoping they could pressure the Executive Board to do the right thing. Eventually, those people left the mission. My impression is that they think the battle is too hopeless to fight anymore, from the outside as well as the inside. So they have walked away, and are focusing on their own lives, families, and livelihood in the "real world".

Perhaps we are fading away, as a group here. Maybe there is nothing more we can do.

Meanwhile, adult MKs who suffered abuse as children still deal on a daily/nightly basis with the effects of their abuse. The nightmares, the flashbacks, the relationship failures, the addictions, the mental illnesses still continue.

The so-called independent investigations will not end well. They will not yield the exposure of missionary pedophiles and sadists, as the MKs had hoped. The mission will protect its reputation and its money, meaning it will never allow the true stories to be told. Of course the attorneys will help the mission leaders chose the words to say that would imply that they care about the MKs and what they suffered. But there are those of us who know the truth.

Surprises? I am not making any promises about surprises. I simply know that my own 5 1/2 year journey here has shown me that surprises do show up. And they are always just that: surprises.

So let us see what 2016 holds. Let's stick around. Let's keep reading, and writing, and praying.

Every journey has its peaks and valleys, and its bends in the road.

Keep walking. And keep talking.

Thinking, thinking.

Moses wandered around in the desert for 40 years before he got to the promised land!

I know of at least one MK who is threatened by their family when they post on here, they are probably not alone!

Scott Kennell would not be locked up if FE didn't exist, he'd be still raping and photographing and maybe even moved on to worse crimes because they often do!

Then there is Gary Earl, he was exposed and NTM forced to take action!

Lots of people have been helped on their own journeys by reading FE, now they have better lives!

Friendships have been made through FE, some across big oceans!

Some wonderfull cartoons, poetry and humor has been shared on FE for all to enjoy and it's free!

And there is all the things that happen behind the scenes that we don't talk about!

Many have come to see what NTM really is, a CULT that destroys lives, while pretending it is doing much good!

So, some come, some go. Activity waxes and wanes. It's the circle of life. But life is better than death by stranulation of the soul, even if it goes round in circles sometimes.

Stopping thinking now.

I, I, I!

Of course some hardline Tribers would say FE is a waste of time because no one has been saved though it.

But that is not true, because many people have been rescued and found because of FE.

And they wouldn't have needed rescuing if they hadn't been lost by NTM in the first place!

See, the world needs FE, well the NTM world anyway :D

Still thinking, thinking.

Is it because as MKs we have been conditioned to wait on God to answer our prayers? All we have to do is pray and we get our prayers answered, unless God doesn't see that as his perfect will for us and then he teaches us to be stronger by saying NO.
Maybe that is why there are only a few MKs who stick around on here, because many have had a quick prayer, there has been no immediate answer and so they have resigned themselves to the belief that either God is taking his time in working it all out or his answer is NO and that must be his will!

The problem I have with that theory is that while we wait for God to answer, the devil's agents are not sitting around waiting. I might be wrong, but the rewards only come when effort has been made and they come unexpectedly!

If we are sitting back and trusting God to provide, NTM will provide for itself and God left that building in disgust years ago!
