Scar tissue.

So much scar tissue.

Don't dismiss it with some pious, judgy word, Christians.

It's scar tissue.

Truth.

Scar tissue will usually function, if it is treated right. Left untreated it often become contracted and less moveable.

Telling someone "if you read your bible everyday, all will magically resolve itself and you won't be tempted by the evil world either" as I have read several times lately, shows an incredible lack of empathy and smacks of the great fob off. This is like rubbing salt into a wound, it stings and has little medical value.

Better still to prevent the scars occurring in the first place, which means removing from society those who cause them and for some of us, walking away from the naked flames of hatred, manipulation and cruelty.

Vitamin B cream is very good for physical wounds, Vitamin Compassion is excellent for emotional scars.

I totally agree Bemused. It is so easy and common to dismiss another's pain with Biblical platitudes when in reality Jesus commands us to love. Does love dismiss? Does love judge? No, love listens. Love hears. Compassion is the instrument of love.

It's hard to believe anyone would embrace this concept, but a close look at NTM's history is chilling.

What does Jehovah God have to say about sacrificing your own dear children in an attempt to prove your total commitment to The Work?

Jeremiah 19:4-5 New International Version (NIV)
