I was shocked to find out that according to someone who left NTM training a scant 4 years ago this is still the culture.

So I think iHart needs to change their moniker referring to "historical." Not so historical 4 years ago.

But here's the thing: I am sure the people teaching the missionary candidates four years ago about spanking their children would deny that what they were advocating is abuse.

I wonder what the children will say about that, 30 years from now, when they are adults.

Exactly what I was thinking, Bemused.

And for the skeptics, just because you can find SOME adult MKs who will tell you they didn't mind being in boarding school at all, and they are thankful for all the harsh corporal punishment, because it is the reason they stayed on the straight and narrow, and are now adult members of the mission, back in "The Work" .... just because there are some who will tell you that, it does NOT in any way negate the suffering and life-long pain of others!!

And that is why we are still here ... still calling out for validation, support, and justice.

Not for the ones who feel no pain, but for the ones who do.

And if you deliberately label those who seek justice against criminal offenders, as "immoral", you have not only failed as a human being, but as a father, husband and Christian. The only thing you have succeeded in is following the cult like instructions of those who also wish to cover their own crimes!

And the millstone at the end of your life will be heavy, if you still believe in an afterlife and haven't denied that too.

Best repent now, before it is to late!

The cartoons and images here are so shockingly powerful! Maybe they could be used in pamphlets or brochures somehow. I couldn't read some of them without fighting back the anger they provoked.
