Paul, I'm glad you didn't delete it! I tried to respond back in a careful considerate logical manner last night, but it looks like I fell asleep before I hit the "submit" button. Storytelling for me is much more meaningful . . .so please tell us! Why don't you take this as an exercise . . .tell your story without trying to make a point. Just the memories and reflections of a human. If you can put it into words that don't borrow meaning from The Collective Christian, it might resonate with a broader audience.

And another analogy. Despite wearing all the protective clothing, one still stinks of smoke after being in a fire. So one must avail oneself of a good cleansing and send ones protective clothing for the appropriate cleaning processes to be conducted.

I now smell pristine and not like a bbqed Bemused.

However there are those who will be forever tainted by the toxic smoke of abuse and those who will continue to deny there is any flames that are causing the smoke. The smokescreen will live on, unless the brave fire the truth at it.
