I'm in the fortunate position of being able to speak my mind and call a spade a spade. You see I have nothing to lose, for I am and always will be (as far as NTM is concerned) a Downunder MK, who is of little relevance.
I have written to Pat several times and received no reply. I am not sure why this is (she doesn't reply, so I wouldn't would I), but perhaps it is the same old problem, I'm not relevant because I'm a Downunder MK.
So therefore in my humble opinion I think this whole IHART routine is a bit of a farce. Pat has a job (and no doubt a nice paying one) for as long as she can spin this out for and as long as she keeps those that pay the expenses are happy. The easiest way to keep them happy is to do what they want, while giving the appearance of "assisting" victims.
And so we are the pawns yet again in a cynical game of damage control and smoke and mirrors.

NTM will be saying to themselves that they got it right. They have flicked a couple crumbs off their table and that should keep the ungratefuls happy. If there are no complaints, no one brave enough to speak out and say "this is not good enough!" then they will assume that the consensus of opinion is that they have done a good job.

As a good friend kindly reminded me, I have achieved healing and peace for myself in this matter. My elephants are out of the room and bemoaning the stick that has been applied to them. We can all achieve some degree of this, but I don't think trusting in IHART and NTM finding reconciliation is the way to do it.

And now I shall disappear back into my little corner of the globe, having spoken my mind.

It's what I can the "Thalidomide" technique, which goes like this.

Sadly Bemused, you are more than likely spot on with your above assumption. The whole thing has seemed a farce to me and continues to baffle me as to why ntm remains so blessed and untouchable. If the crimes committed in their midst weren't so blatantly horrible and wrong and illegal and unbiblical, I would begin to doubt myself and think maybe God is unhappy with me because my prayers go unanswered while ntm continues on unrepentant. If I were an Mk I would be so disgusted and frustrated with this. It is truly a sad situation. It is unjust and wrong.

Absolutely right, Aussie.
More sueing makes sense.
It's the only thing that will make ntm sit up and take notice.
And I notice that I am not spelling sue-ing right.
I will accept help on that point.

“As you all know the Vianopolis report went to the NTM Board in October and the Recommendations Panel met at the end of October to begin and complete its work. Since that time we have been busy writing the reports and re-writing the reports that are needed for distribution. I realize it has been a long and frustrating wait for the survivors and witnesses that talked with IHART and I do apologize. This process has taken longer than I expected as we have revised and then revised again and again the forms that we are using. Just so you know this is the first time I have had to write so many reports from the master report. We are very close to sending them to the people involved. Please bear with me.

While all this work is pulling together the Vianopolis reports, it has not slowed down the work being done on Tambo and Panama.”
