Here's an interesting exercise in pursuit of truth and transparency.
Go to the NTm website.
http://usa.ntm.org/Click on Child Protection.
http://usa.ntm.org/child-protectionType "Historical Abuse" in the search field.
That will take you to this page:
http://usa.ntm.org/content/search?q=historical+abuseThere are 18 posts here. Information that in the past was available to be viewed on the website. Information about child abuse, investigations and plans.
Try clicking on one of those now. This is what you will see:

It appears we were not able to locate the content you were looking for. It's possible you found a link to a web page that doesn't actually exist. This could happen if the page was deleted but you found a stray reference to it somewhere."It's possible you found a link to a web page that doesn't actually exist."
A web page that doesn't actually exist?
Information that doesn't actually exist?
How is this supposed to make MK abuse survivors feel? It's a short jump for people who already feel unprotected, betrayed and abandoned by NTM to "your abuse didn't really happen". Or at least "it doesn't really matter, and we don't really care".
Current NTM members have been told over and over that the abuses of the past are being handled in a Godly way.
NTMers: Please pull your head out of the sand and try to imagine, if your own child had been molested by a missionary co-worker, how do you think your child would feel if she was told, "This announcement, report or update doesn't actually exist."
Please, please think about this!
