How embarrassing, it's big news down here.

Oh, very big news here too. Yep, pretty embarrassing.

Americans of course would like the world to think they live by a very high moral and ethical standard.

But I'm afraid this is closer to the truth: If you don't get caught, it's not actually wrong.

In some ways the U.S. is in an unenviable position, being pretty much the only Superpower. So everything it does is up for scrutiny and stuff ups tend to get paraded by vested interest groups ad nauseum.
Of course when New Zealand makes a mistake, hardly anyone notices and when the Australians stuff up, the Kiwis tell everyone that will listen, but that's not that many people , after all only 10% of the worlds population lives south of the equator, so we're well away from the big time action.

But spying on your friends and getting caught doing it, he he, bring back the cold war, when there was someone worthwhile peeking at .

Oh excuse me, gotta go. President Putin is on line one . . .

Especially ones who can understand
The workings of this MKs mind

However I'm now deep in therapy
With not just any Counselor off the shelf
I have found someone with insight
Yes, I'm talking to myself

But I don't come cheap
For my advice is top quality
And running between the couch
And the chair is good therapy

So far I've discovered
I talk an awful awful lot
And this is going to take some time
To sort out the good from the rot

Good news, I'm making progress
Am enjoying the therapy
And have made an amazing find
The problem is not me

I think a few more months will do it
At eight hours per day
Sixteen of course on Sundays
As I ease my guilt away

Oh and if I need a second opinion
Mrs Bemused says she'll listen too
But she charges twice my fees
Because she's got a degree or two
