I suspect the last point weighs heavily on the mind of many and may well be the reason that some are afraid to post.

The dog bites when cornered and some of us still have family and friends in NTM, who we fear may be retaliated against by speaking out (just to clarify, I have no family left in NTM and the one friend I have in NTM is big enough to look after himself).

This is no way to live, but it is the path some choose.

As for how we view and use this site, it's very much an individual choice. For some it is a source of healing and inspiration, for others a place to seek justice and vent frustration. There is no limit on the number of theads that can be running at one time, so if there is nothing on the table that is music to the palate, by all means introduced a thread that is more to ones liking.
