I think a petition is a wonderful idea to both spread the word and also to poll the NTM members, supporters and sending churches.

I wasn't saying that the petiton wouldn't also be a good idea, but just pointing out that it might not carry much weight.

I would certainly sign it, and provide identifying information. I've already been in touch with some NTM people, so have nothing to hide.

I am outraged by NTM not wanting to continue with GRACE but down deep inside i KNEW they would not continue with them. NTM and MNTB has not and will not change. I have watched for many years how they have destroyed Missionaries and their children´s lives. I have watched fandaeagles.com ever since it started and have posted a few times. Doesn´t anybody see the signs they keep showing? Do people think they will really change? How in the world do they want us to open up with them (i am talking of the Brasilian side now) when the leadership has never and continues to not open up? And not just listen but change, admit where they went wrong and CHANGE. How many missionaries have gone before them, cried, pleaded, begged and nothing happens? I know the leadership in Brasil and they only listen and do nothing. Why do they just sit around in their offices and try figuring out who we are (i know this for a fact) instead of doing something better like repenting, trying to get things right, go around and contact people????.......just start MOVING...do something. Most of the men on leadership can´t do anything anyways and probably dont even want to. How do they choose Fred Otto to take charge of whatever that position is....i forget what they call it? I mean HE is a great guy......but he left Shekinah for a purpose....does anybody know why???? While we are at it, what about the things that happened at Macedonia, Peniel, Shekinah.....etc. Everything there too was shoved under the rug just like at Via. All this makes me SICK!!! I have a lot more to say.....but i am working on it and want to put it in a better place.

But anyways, I also will GLADLY sign the petition and know of many more who will too.

Is there a webpage or does anyone have an accurate list (and spellings) of the people on the executive committee and CPC of NTM?

I would definitely support this, and I would definitely sign it. I have already written to some NTM leadership with my concerns and inquiries about this. This is NOT what we were initially told and it is not what GRACE recommended. Although the Child Protection department at NTM is approaching being a reliable department, MKs are not willing to be honest with NTM after all they have suffered. They are therefore not qualified to handle this themselves. As an individual who is currently serving with NTM, know that I support the Fanda Eagles.

I think the petition is a good idea. I'm a little nervous about it because I wonder how many would sign it. I would hope a lot would sign it but by the silence from many that I know in NTM and the outright hostility of others I really don't know. If anything it might be a useful indicator of where the larger silent majority is at in regards to the Fanda Abuse and bigger picture of leadership style and other abuses committed. I would not be able to write the petition/s but would be willing to canvas and ask for signatures.

I think writing a letter is a good idea too. I'm pro life and one thing that was started to encourage Obama to moderate his pro abortion stand was the red envelope campaign. Each person was asked to write and send an empty red envelope to Obama with "this envelope is empty because it represents one child who's life has been taken through abortion" or something like that on the back. Thousands of empty red envelopes were sent. It is more a symbolic thing.

Just to give an update, I have written a petition and am working out the details with Kari and others.

Maybe it will be ready to post by Friday. ??

I think one of the greatest thing this petition could hopefully do is raise awareness with those who haven't heard or are just hearing things here and there. I am hoping this is something that can be posted on each person's facebook page as a link, if you so desire. From what I understand, there will be one central webpage for the petition, but if we all posted a link on our fb pages, we could spread the word pretty quickly, I think.
