The THREE MILLION mark is approaching!

I have a feeling we will reach this milestone before IHART finishes any of their investigations.

Pii had anticipated that they would wrap up their investigation of Panama by mid to late summer 2013.

It is now August 14. I wonder how they define "summer"? Does summer end when school starts? Some schools start this week, others next week. Does summer end on Labor Day, which is 2 1/2 weeks away? Or is Pii being scientific and looking at September 21 as the last day of summer? Whew! That is over a month from now! So they've still got time.

It is easy to lose sight of the people who have the most at stake while we wait, and wait, and wait. The MKs who suffered terrible abuse as children, who courageously told their stories to IHART, wait to see if there is going to be anything positive that comes out of this very scary chance that they took. After years and years of thinking no one cared, they dared to think someone actually does, and would do something to validate and vindicate them.

This is about the children, New Tribes Mission. It's about the children, IHART, Pii. The children who were vulnerable and suffered so much. The children who are now adults, who continue to struggle every day. The children are waiting. If they were waiting for bread, they would have starved to death by now.

For the sake of the children, please ... please ...
